My journey

At the start of my journey, I had no interest in programming because I was into video games just watching TV shows, one day, my dad introduced me to programming, and I was like, am I going to write code and create a program? Then I wrote my first lines of code and saw the results but wasn’t impressed.

The first programming language I wrote was HTML then I learned more about it from a few tutorials discussing the basics. That was when I started to get interested in web development. After days of testing, my dad set up a local host server so that I could create my test site to test the code. I would try to copy layouts from websites, but I found out that CSS isn’t easy as it seems, so I needed some help to fix it.

After that, I tried learning JavaScript but haven’t made that much progress.

A few weeks later, my dad introduced me to WordPress and Elementor and how they work. After setting everything up, I created my first official site (this site). At first, I didn’t know what purpose will my site be, but then I decided why not create a personal website. I then made my home page and other pages for testing. Then tested the widgets of Elementor to see how they work and where to use them.

After some testing, I started creating the site, but it didn’t look good because I wasn’t a good designer. Most of the time, I would put too much color and too many borders and run into problems because of improper styling.

The start of my career

After learning the basics of HTML, CSS, plus WordPress, my dad tasked me to complete a simple repetitive task which made me bored. After completing that task, a few days later, he assigned me more complex tasks.

In 2021 I didn’t do that much on my site because of a few projects and some setbacks. I’ve learned more about CSS and how to use Adobe Photoshop.

In early 2022 I started getting interested again after some motivation. I’ve learned about CSS pseudo-elements, selectors, and animations. Proper SEO, then SVGs, and how to style them. Now learning how to use Adobe Illustrator(Still updating)
